Connecticut has mostly embraced the 1910 and 1926 criteria, even though a State Plan is often overseen by two regulatory agencies. So, in Connecticut, the Standards and Regulations apply to every employer and worker equally.
Even though OSHA does not require OSHA Training, employees are still required to receive training on and in accordance with specific Safety Standards. Due to the fact that these safety courses cover a larger range of topics and some of which satisfy the requirement to get trained in accordance with the specific Safety Standards, OSHA advises employees to enroll in OSHA courses, also known as OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 Hour.
OSHA Training is not required, but if you work in Connecticut, you must abide by the Connecticut Construction Safety Law.
