OSHA’s 10-hour construction training focuses on the health and safety hazards associated with construction workplaces. Students will also gain a thorough understanding of employer and employee rights and responsibilities. OSHA recommends this 10-hour construction training to provide workers with the knowledge and skills necessary for their health and safety during employment, minimizing injuries and saving lives. This 10-hour construction course includes a Job Aid (study guide). Students will receive an OSHA DOL wallet card upon successful completion of the 10-hour construction course.

The OSHA Construction Outreach Training Program is designed to provide entry-level construction workers with a general understanding of hazard recognition and prevention on construction sites. OSHA recommends the Outreach Training Program courses as occupational safety and health guidance for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers should receive additional training, as required by OSHA regulations, on specific job hazards. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA Construction Outreach Course Completion Card within two weeks.
Awards and Accreditations
After successfully completing the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Course, you will be issued documentation verifying that you have completed OSHA authorized Outreach Training.
Instant Printable Certificate
Upon completion, students will receive an Instant Printable Certificate of Completion of the course. This certificate can be presented to employers before receiving the official Department of Labor (DOL) Card by mail.
OSHA Department of Labor (DOL) Wallet Card
Students completing the OSHA course also receive an official OSHA Department of Labor Wallet Card. This is a wallet-size card that serves as permanent proof that you have completed OSHA Outreach Training from an approved provider.
Many employers ask to see the OSHA DOL card before allowing employees to work on worksites where OSHA regulations apply or before taking a supervisory position.
Employer Recognition
The OSHA DOL Card is utilized by employers across the country to ensure their employees have received the appropriate OSHA Outreach training for the job.
Contractors, construction companies, project owners, and government agencies all require this card to be presented by employees as evidence that OSHA training has been completed.
How your card will be sent to you
After completion of your course, you will receive your OSHA DOL Card by mail at the address you provided when registering for the course.
Students should allow for adequate time for processing and receiving their cards in the mail.
Make sure to save your printable certificate and OSHA DOL Wallet Card for your records. It may be required for future employment.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
All our online OSHA training courses can be taken from the comfort of your home. Not only do our courses allow you to meet OSHA requirements at home, but they are also self-paced and can be completed whenever you like within one year of purchase.
For OSHA Online Outreach training programs, students must: Spend at least 600 minutes or 10 hours in the course. Spend a maximum of 7 hours and 30 minutes in the course each day. Complete a course evaluation survey upon completion. Pass all OSHA 10 quizzes and the final exam with a score of at least 70% in three attempts or fewer. Access OSHA Outreach training only within the jurisdiction of the United States.
After enrolling, your course is valid for 12 months, so you can access it at any time during this period. However, after you first start the course, OSHA rules state that you must complete it, including the survey, within 6 months. Furthermore, if you fail all attempts on the quizzes or the final exam, you will no longer be able to access the course.
Once you have completed the course, return to your “My Training” page and click on the certificate icon. If you have met the course requirements, you will be able to view and print your temporary certificate of completion.
